I thought the ninja-fication of GI Joe was always silly. It always took away from the uniqueness of Storm Shadow. First they made Snake Eyes, than Jinx, than Zartan and Scarlett, finally Red Ninjas, and than Black Dragons whom I don't acknowledge who the comic says their leader is because after Firefly the next ninja would've been Duke or Hawk. In my own way, this particular set of figures was an experimentation in dying and satire of the line as a whole.

The troopers were made opposite colors of their leader, red piping with golden dragons. They fight the Red Ninjas, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow (when Joes) and whoever else it is they fight.
