Jane is not only a direct descendant of the legendary "Calamity," but is rumored to be part of the lineage spawned by a love affair between the female cowboy and Wild Bill Hickok.

It is pretty much accepted that Jane could have been the best sniper in the world had she not been born in Texas, unlike her famous ancestor, who was a Missouri native. Unable to maintain the necessary patience to wait a target out, Jane has been assigned to the Joe team in the hopes that Low Light can mentor her to full potential (she is that talented).

However, as an added incentive, Jane is also an experienced field medic, as well as animal handler. Her pet bird, named "Spotter," is easily able to act like her binoculars in the sky and relay information through a special signal system developed by the Joe team specialist Spirit and herself.

Although Jane is rather smart, as well as a talented soldier, she has had trouble adjusting to the Joe team culture. Poor Clutch paid for this on the first day of her arrival.

"Well sir, if I can shoot one of them slithery critters, mid-strike, I sure as shootin' can hit some city slicker dressed in blue, hollerin "COBBRRAAA!"

This custom and bio grew out of the accessories. It started with just a black-garbed chick and a rifle, and then i grabbed the dyed Gnawgahyde hat, and out came the old Raven's casting six shooters, the bird, the jacket, and the horse.
