Born July 4, 1917, Steven Rogers was a true hero. When newsreels showed him the evil of the Nazi regime he tried to enlist in the army. Deemed 4F due to his sickly condition, he still wanted to fight. He was approached to take part in Project Rebirth. Steve was given the Super Soldier serum and subjected to various radiations. The process worked and Captain America was born. Frozen at the end of WW II the Super Soldier serum kept him in suspended animation until, a few years ago, he was found by the Avengers and revived. Unaged, he continues to battle the forces of evil.
