Deathmaster is a part of the secret group known as DEATH_BRIGADE. This is a group of most powerful and relentless bodyguards who wouldn't mind killing and even getting killed in protecting the elite of Cobra. Deathmaster in particular is feared even by his fellow mates because of his raw strength and cruelty. A former wrestler, he was notorious for ending lives in the ring.

What makes him and rest of DEATH_BRIGADE so lethal is the fact that G.I. Joe knows next to nothing about them.
