This figure was made for the No Joe Contest #5. I have to admit that before this contest all I knew of the character was her Jim Lee design from the Mojo-verse arc of X-Men. Even with Lee's update I wasn't all that impressed with the character.

After reading her background and seeing she was created as a movie/recording artist/ comic book cross over I realized this is something I could totally see Marvel trying to do today. We already have a lot of pop artists involved in mainstream films. It isn't that hard to imagine someone like Sony and Marvel teaming up to thrust a Hilary Duff/Jessica Simpson type charcter onto the world stage.

Going off that idea, as if she was created for today's teen/tween audience I based her looks on WWE divas and the PussyCat Dolls. Her outfit is sensual while at the same time flexable enough to where she could reasonably fight in it.
