Helmet: Cobra Air Trooper

These helmets were originally going to be for my custom Ferret drivers. But since I don't have a Ferret yet, I ditched that idea.

I had cut the face plate off of the Air Trooper's helmet obviously, then sanded all the edges down and painted the inside of the helmet black to go along with how my custom Cobra Officer helmets look.

For some reason they seem to look best with the Scarred Officer head. It's a lot smaller than all of the other molds.

I wanted another sub-class of Cobra Soldier to stick in the Fang so I didn't have to use any of my actual Cobra Soldiers. I liked the body on this Pilot figure, but wasn't really sure it fit in with my other troopers or officers. It was on the way to the parts bin when I dug out these helmets and stuck them on.

I like how they ended up looking like Ice Vipers a little bit. At some point I'll cut up some more of these, paint 'em grey and make a couple of them too.
