The Hamburglar has always treated like the red headed step child of the McDonald family. That might have had to do with him being the offspring of a teenage Ronald McDonald and one of the maids. After he was born, his birth mother was quickly deported. To avoid further scandal, Hamburglar was raised as Ronald's brother.

As you can imagine the Hamburglar never received the attention and affection from a family that only wanted to sweep him under the rug. So, naturally, he started acting out. His expulsions from several private schools led to a juvenile record which in turn led to a long petty crime rap sheet. With the family money and attorneys keeping him out of jail, Hamburglar was able to perfect his craft. Serving as a master thief for the Fast Food Mafia, Ronald uses his brother's talent to get secret recipes from his rivals.
