Hanukkah was born and raised in Alaska where it stays frozen nearly year around. After stepping out of High School, he joined the Arctic Rangers. They were the law and the order of Alaska, where he was trained to work in an arctic climate. Among the training he had to learn was tracking through snow, dive in icy rivers and tackle avalanche cave-ins. Later, he joined G. I. * Joe's Arctic Patrol unit.
