Mark Royer studied sharks, he specialized in the habits and behaviors of Hammerhead sharks. When the design for the Hammerhead submarine were released he knew he needed to pilot it. After a grueling training period he was allowed to join a team dedicated to understanding the depths of the ocean.

That was all before the undead uprising. Now he uses his Hammerhead submarine to assist in the destruction of the undead menace along the ocean bottom.
