Based on her uniform in Devil's Due GI Joe #28, p5 and all of #32.

This has been my most 'invasive custom posted to date (though the Reserve Forces self-custom will change that.)

Going from top to bottom:

The head. I had a poll whether to use the Padme head, glued onto the leftover Scarlett neck from my Cover Girl custom, or a VvV Baroness head with her glasses carved off. The consensus was, the Padme if I gave her a neck. This resulted in a second headlop, at the neckball instead of along the jawline. For filler, I used a piece of the Copperhead SpyTroops helmet that came with Sgt. Airborne, that I was cutting up for a new take on Copperhead. I glued that to the neckball, then glued the head and neck stump to that, and finally trimmed away excess hat plastic until I had a single column again.

The torso required shaving down the Cobra sigil, but once that was done, the torso already had the basic vest lines I could use for Mayday.

On the arms, I admit to oversight or laziness, or both. Somehow, I didn't shave off the throwing stars or trim the shoulder 'sandwiches' by the time I started painting them. So, I decided to follow Hasbro's example when details are simply painted over and pretend the stars don't exist. :)

Zarana's waist had a front zipper that I didn't want to show, so that was sanded off. For the paint lines, I used plumber's tape to mark off the black that I wanted to keep, then painted the sides gray.

For the belt, I added a holster before painting.

On the thighs, the straps were sanded away, and a set of pouches added after painting, because I liked the pouches color as-is.
