Master Lin-Po is yet another figure from my now defunct Vanguard universe who never got a chance to truly be fleshed out. He was an enigma anyway--British by birth, raised in Tibet, skilled in a wide variety of martial arts fighting styles from all over the world...and quite possibly immortal, to boot.

The Joes were to first meet him after Lin-Po is arrested by the NYPD after fending off a demon attack in a New York subway. NYPD contacted the Joes after seeing the bodies of Lin-Po's attackers, and they came to talk to him, only to find out he was, in fact, seeking them out!

Lin-Po is loosely based on Chow Yun-Fat's character from "Bulletproof Monk".
