Nullifier came to Destro as a test pilot for the new Anti-Gravity Pods that he had developed. Showing no fear and a professional talent, Destro was impressed with the man. After serving his time as an Iron Grenadier on the front lines, Nullifier was offered the opportunity to become Destro's personal pilot. Nullifier had transported the last of the equipment to Cobra Island when his aircraft was grounded due to some faulty equipment the Cobra mechanics found. And since Cobra Commander III took over, no aircraft have been allowed to leave the island.
