Nicholas Joseph Fury lied about his age in order to enlist at the start of WW II. He was a great soldier and an even better leader. In Europe, he led the Howling Commandos on countless missions. After suffering an injury, Nick was innoculated with the age-retarding Infinity Formula. He remained active in the military. Fighting in both Korea and Vietnam. He eventually got a position in the CIA. At the height of the Cold War, he was assigned director of SHIELD (Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate). At almost a century old, Nick is still fighting for world peace.
