Officer Josephine Powers is a New York City police officer. A former paramour of Lance Sputnik who parted ways amicably, he has been able to rely on her for information from time to time. She also works security at JFK International Airport on occassion in order to pick up some extra cash.

Once a down to earth and fun loving officer, recent events have left her disenfranchised and bitter, making her think that a lifestyle change may be in order.
