Here is another custom I made for Xhairs. I wanted to give him a realistic look, so, while I was painting the camo on the legs, I was also painting the camo on the torso of my BBI custom... which for both figures, I was using my Hit-n-Run custom's camo as a base to model it off of. So that's why they look alike.

I wanted to go with a non white t-shirt, cause, I thought he'd just stick out like a pimple on a Message Board Troll's nose... so I went with a more earthy color... though, I do have another torso I'm making with a white shirt(it was my practice one)... so I might make me one now, 'cause I really like the look of him...

I decided to go with a different torso than what most people have been using for their Outback customs (Grunt)... and when I saw Link.. I knew I just had to use his...for the "SURVIVAL" I went with a method called Decoupage...

I remember reading it somewhere on the message boards, it brought me back to the good ol' high school art class days... and I haven't seen that many Outback customs with the "survival" on the chest(or if they were, they were painted on). So I thought.. what the heck...
Basically, I printed out the words, then I water down the paper enough so it was almost see-through. I then added some glue to the back and slowly put it on, then with a damp Q-tip, I tapped the surface so it'd set into the creases of the mold... pretty easy...

Oh, and one thing, I didn't have the colored paper that I thought I did, so I improvised and printed it onto a lunch bag and I used that. Worked really well, I then went over the words a little with the same paint as the torso, so it'd match up and blend in better.
