Donor Name: Robert Skelton
Project: MUTON hybrid, phase 1.

All hail the Baron.

As you know, my Baron, the mercenary Robert Skelton was once a SAW Viper in the employ of Cobra. It was his actions in executing seven Joes that sparked the Trucial Abysmia War, the end of which saw Cobra Commander isolating himself on Cobra Island and spurred you to begin forming the Red Shadows.

When it came time to retrieve our Lord Serpentor's legacy from the Joes, and teach Cobra Commander a lesson in humility, your agents found Skelton and gave him a hero's berth in your army. In the resulting fight with the Joes, however, Skelton was critically injured. The man's inhuman perserverence seems to be all that kept these injuries from being fatal, and he managed to rendezvous with us at the evacuation site.

So, by your wisdom, you chose to spare him as a volunteer for the MUTON cyborg project. We had to amputate Skelton's left leg above the knee as well as both arms, and reinforce the remaining right knee along with his spine and other joints. I am happy to report that Skelton's mind clings tenaciously to the cybernetic grafts I have devised, enabling him to interface with BAT technology, including a backwards-compatible signal override to usurp control of any BATs still in possession of Cobra Commander.

Disadvantages to the current process include that Skelton, our "Overkill", must be immersed in a nutrient bath for several hours each 24-hour period, or risk that his remaining organic skin go gangrene.

OK.. so this one's spoiling a little of my story. I wanted to make sure to get him in as part of the end of 2006. :-}

For Overkill, I wanted all of the most cybernetic new sculpt parts I could find -- which pretty much dictated the torso with that spinal graft. The head is something I tinkered around with, in a frivolous attempt to make the Overkill noggin look more like the VvV Backblast head I chose for "pre-op" Skelton. Note that the bio explains my choice for the thicker right leg: that's still flesh and bone beyond the reconstructed knee, unlike the left leg which is entirely metal.
