Hot-Rod "jumped" at the chance to move from Fort Dodge, Iowa to go to college overseas when he was 18. Studying abroad in several countries including France, Scotland and Germany, he finally met a girl and settled down in New Zealand, where he became a premiere sky-dive expert and jump trainer for years.

Training actors on various movies and television shows filmed there as well as training several members of the New Zealand Special forces, he enjoyed his life and job until he got Dukes Letter about the murder of his childhood friend. Crazy-Legs died at the hands of a blood thirsty S.A.W. Viper during the assault on Trucial Abysmia. Then he showed up at my door wanting to enlist for payback. I sensed the anger and hatred building inside him to the boiling point, so I put him through the paces.

No one has ever taken the beating I gave him, but he just kept getting up! Finally I capitulated and took him to see Hawk with my letter of support. When he graduated from boot camp, I gave him one of Crazy-Legs' Night-Force uniforms, which he modified to suit him while still keeping Crazy's memory alive.

Now he serves as a vital member of Night-Force with detached duties to my Ninja-Force, as well as, keeping his daughter (Blast-Off) in line. You can ask Ace about her. That's a different story.
