Raider always had good aim and even better, a knack for running off what he failed to hit. After four years as a high school linebacker Raider enlisted in the Army in 1995. He qualified well with the M429 SAW and was hired by the 4th Army as a specialist in a weapons squad. He breezed through Ranger school and went Special Forces as an E-6. Qualified expert in all NATO and WARSAW PACT small arms and also a superb weapons instructor.
