Scarface operated as Cobra Commander's presence in the field. Often reminding key officers of tasks and insuring their return to base victorious. His devotion to Cobra made him an immediate target to those who would set their sights on controlling interest in the high court of Cobra Commander's upper echelon. Seeing what would be best for Cobra he looked to take sides with Destro, seeing his superior tactical and financial assets would further the cause. The appearance of Major Bludd cut short his ambitions as he would be left to die when Major Bludd escaped the destruction of the original PIT.
