JFAK075 made an excellent Microman custom of Snake Eyes recently that struck me as a most excellent figure. Over & above John's usual level of customizing, this figure stood out to me because of the complex simplicity of the accessories. Once all the removable gear was off, Snake Eyes looked like a ninja; with it on, Snake Eyes looked like a commando.

So it was the balancing of those two aspects of Snake Eyes that I was striving to recreate here, only I wanted to do it using only G.I. Joe body parts.

The only parts of this figure I wished to elucidate upon were two pieces of his gear which didn't show up very well in the pictures.

The wrist communicator, was made using Hard Drive's hardware, cut off & reattached to a VvsV wrist communicator that was cut down to fit the item.

VvsV Snake Eye's gun was something I also wished to include among this commando's gear. I attached a piece of ST Black Out's belt to the Crosshair's belt & over it, a holster from ST Destro's belt.

I truly hope that this figure is the final definitive version of Snake Eye's that I make for my collection, as I am running out of shelf space...
