Used as a tool by Lex Luthor. The parasite is brought over to drain energy from anyone that stands in Luthor's way of conquering the globe. In a world without superpowers to defend them the parasite is a deadly tool being manipulated by a genocidal madman. After assuming leadership of Cobra,Luthor uses his tool to drain the life of Serpentor,after he tries to usurp leadership from him. He then instructs others that if anyone else wants to start a mutiny this is what happens.
