Ex-Marine and former NYC SWAT command officer, his life was torn apart when an internal investigation revealed his wife, Assistant District Attorney Alexandria Devron Fallon, was a Crimson Guard, a deep-cover Cobra agent sent to spy on the government and sow general discord when needed. Taking his young daughter with her, she escaped to Cobra Island a few steps ahead of the authorities. Internal Affairs investigated him for 5 years to discern whether or not he was her accomplice. He was eventually cleared, but the stigma of her dealings with Cobra hung over him. Filled with anger over how the woman he trusted and loved had ruined his life with her lies and stolen his daughter, he transferred from New York to Detroit. He became affiliated with the DEF through Shockwave, and later became part of the G.I.Joe team. He is now a member of the Argonauts, a splinter-team under the command of Icarus Styx. Qualified Expert in Warsaw Pact firearms; normally armed with a shotgun and tactical grenade launcher.
"Takedown's a tough old bird, I'll give him that; one of the few guys I know who'll charge shield-first into a room filled with Alley-Vipers, armed only with his shotgun and a hangover. He isn't an easy mech to work with, what with his short fuse and thirst for alcoholic beverages getting him into trouble more than a few times, not to mention he's gotten a little too 'enthused' while interrogating captured snakes. He tries to keep his personal demons in check for the sake of the squad, but after living through something like that, every day's an uphill battle."
