Like I said, had a bunch of these Security Guards laying around. Had to do something with 'em... Torpedo's not my favorite character or anything, but for some reason this is my second custom of him.

My friend and I were brainstorming back and forth on the phone, talking about making a bunch of the later Joes in the Original 13 uniforms. (He's on here somewhere; Cobra Commander, the one with 62 customs, so far)

We were both griping about how the Zap and Short-Fuze torso wasn't exploited as much as it could have been. That's pretty much how this figure came about. Just absent mindedly fiddling with parts while on the phone.

There's something about it I like though... I tried making a Deep Six, or putting the comic pack Shipwreck head on this body. Looked kinda cool, but this one just clicked.

He looks a little more sinister in this than in his wetsuit. And it was another chance for me to make the "Zap style" straps I really, really like. I may paint his boots black to match the rest of his gear, and/or paint the neck, but for now I can live with it being an LBC. Again.

I think all my LBC karma is going to catch up with me when I finally finish painting the Covergirl I'm working on. Anyway, thanks for looking!
