I only wish I could present this figure with animation as the action of this figure speaks more clearly in reality than these pictures are able to - you're just going to have to use your imagination.

The point is: the Ellen Ripley figure from the ALIENS toy-line released by either Mattel or Kenner (don't remember which) some twelve years ago or so had an action gimmick which allowed fire from the flame-thrower to shoot out as you twisted the torso of the doll - I've added that ability to this figure. In the double-picture you should see a peg from the flame-thrower inserted in a pouch on the right leg: that same pouch comes from the Ripley-figure replacing the holster of the C.L.A.W.S whose figure I took the leg from. When Torch's torso is twisted to the right, the peg slides forward alongside the weapon, pushing out the flame from its nozzle and making it look like Torch is spewing fire. As I said: the effect is much cooler in reality than these pictures can give you, but I'm sure you get the idea.
