Born at the tail end of the Cold War and raised in a Moscow orphanage, Udo became fascinated with the tales of wonder and glory told to him by a delusional caretaker and Soviet Navy retiree. Udo joined the Russian Army as soon as he was able. Unsurprisingly, it failed to live up to his expectations. He promptly abandoned his position and took up the Soviet cause as a mercenary, often working with warlord Vulff Hoffman. On a snowy night in eastern Siberia, Udo crossed paths with famed adventurer Lance Sputnik, and barely escaped with the shirt on his back. He has since vowed to bring down the capitalist Sputnik's, and put an end to his empire.
