Throughout its 20-year history, Cobra has never had difficulty in recruiting new members to its fold. From all over the globe mercenaries, disgraced corporate executives, Internet geeks, and other unsavory rabble flock to Cobra and its promises of vast wealth and power. What they are not told is that they must first complete a 14-week basic training program designed to separate the truly committed from the weak.

A typical day begins three hours after the last one ended, with a ten mile run in full combat gear, followed up by a vigorous PT session with Bog Boa. During basic training, recruits receive instruction on Cobra doctrine and learn the Cobra way of fighting: mean, nasty and dirty.

Upon completion of the course, recruits are assigned to Viper Infantry units and told they will receive advanced training in their military specialty in two years....if they survive that long.
