Raised in the same tribe as Spirit, Warpath was always jealous of his accomplishments. This turned to bitter rage when Spirit joined the G.I. Joe team. He felt betrayed that his tribal brother joined the same army that hunted and killed his ancestors to near extinction.

When Cobra learned of Spirit's brother and his feelings, they spoke with a forked, but silver tounge at a chance to revenge himself upon the GI Joe member. Warpath gave it no second thought.

Although not as good of a tracker as Spirit, Warpath is a brilliant tactician. He will lead squads of Range Vipers into the wilderness for months at a time and come back with devastating results against the Joe team. He lives only to face Spirit in combat for what Warpath feels is the honor of his people.
