On of my longstanding projects has been to make a Wet Suit in land gear. I saw it in the comic in like 1987, wanted it for years, and finally made it in March of 2006.

The figure uses a Rit Dye base, on which I used Citadel green paint. I used an almost dry brush to get the thinnest coat I could, and then sealed it with Armor All.

This custom was inspired by SNAKE's use of the torso and coloring on a recent custom that I can't find to refer to directly. It reminded me of a time when I really enjoyed doing 2 - 3 color customs in military colors. It also made the formerly useless Backblast torso in my parts bin seem desirable again.

Inspired by his custom, I put together a team of Para-Jumpers and Navy S.E.A.L.s, including my older Tracker custom, using the same simple military color scheme.
