When they were young, they served in the French Foreign Legion, then they left the Legion to serve as mercenaries, where they found a second love: money.
Taking money aquired in their mercenary activities, they bought out companies and formed Extensive Enterprises.

Upon their success, they hired Major Bludd as their mercenary liason to Cobra. Along with their enterprise, they also hired Zartan and his Dreadnoks as their Street Patrol...in other words, thugs.
