I got Zartan when he came out in 84, and I was super-excited. It was night-time when I finally got to open his package, and I had a friend over. My friend put him under a lamp to make him change color. He didn't change, of course, so my friend threw him against the wall, which broke his waist and his arm. I've been living with a broken Zartan ever since (he's broken in about every other conceivable place since then). When I saw the Devil's Due version of him, it gave me some ideas for a custom Zartan. The Night-viper chest takes some getting used to (those shoulders are so high), but I think it works. I'm really happy with the way the legs turned out. I'm working on a custom swamp-skier for him.
