Marc "Backlash" Slayton was a highly decorated member of several covert action teams including Team Zero and Team 7. After his defection from Team 7, Slayton went into hiding emerging as the masked vigilante we know today. He continued to use his call sign "Backlash" during his exploits. He founded WildCore and used his abilities to try and take out corrupt leaders and criminals. His training focused heavily on up close, hand-to-hand, wet work. His preferred method of killing is either with a blade or an electronically charged whip although he has been seen using a supressed sidearm when necessary.
