Roadblock was selected as part of the naval ops special forces task force because he could serve a dual purpose on the USS Colton. First, in a scrape he is a superb fighter and can operate a heavy machine gun laying down supression fire to keep platoons of enemies at bay. Second, he is a gourmet cook and serves as the Chef for the submarine providing its crew with gourmet meals. A well fed crew is not a necessity for victory but it does help.
