Everything: '87 Fast Draw


The Mega Marines is a self-contained inter-dimensional expeditionary force; they operated completely cut off from the main Joe team. The Division is broken up into three different units including two field teams, and a support team.

1987 was a pretty awesome Joe year in my opinion, and it was interesting new characters with unusual cool specialties that made it such. Fast Draw was no exception, but his specialty and accessories sort of limited his use to me, and sadly Fast Draw did not see a lot of action in the field.

I decided to add him to my expanded Mega Marines team to get additional play value out of the character. When he was originally slated for a spot on the team I was unsure what his use would be. I was planning on adding some missile specialists to the team and thought he could serve in that role.
After he was painted, I thought his body armor would lend itself to a role operating the Defense Mech a lot better than the originally planned, Blocker. I decided to make Fast Draw the Defense Mech operator and filled the Missile trooper role with, Zap.
