A rogue ninja from the Arashikage clan, Slice became a mercenary alongside his training partner Dice and a group of ninjas that would be known as "The Red Ninjas", the Red Ninjas were completely wiped out by the GI Joe team's own 'Ninja Force', led by Arashikage masters Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Slice aligned with Cobra, becoming one of their own top ninja assassins. Though he is among the most dangerous of the Arashikage students,his bold and brash attitude usually precedes his skill.

What started as a simple "Ninja Viper" custom turned into Slice. I wanted to make use of the Overkill heads since they seemed almost virtually useless as potential custom heads,when I paired it with the Zartan torso, I got the idea for the Ninja Viper... but as I worked, I decided that it would be a new look for an old favorite. It even features the trademark 'dots' that the original RAH mold had. While it was a simple custom and perhaps hastily done, it features the best painted Cobra logo I have done freehand to date, the black one on his chest. All in all, I'm really proud how this one turned out... I was impressed that it managed to work out all so well.
