Rampage is an interesting character for me. When the character appeared as a Beach Head repaint in the JvsC line I didn't care for him, and never really gave him much thought. Then, while putting together my Dino Hunters team, I used the character as a repainted Battle Corps Iceberg.
By adding the character to my collection and actually trying to flesh him out a little more I decided to take the idea that he is a highly trained Ranger with a bad case of hero worship for fellow Joe and Ranger, Beach Head. Rampage has a major man crush on Beach Head though the veteran Joe doesn't feel the same way and finds Rampage's admiration an annoyance.
After I had a chance to expand the characters backstory and profile, I really started to like him a lot more. He's young, eager, and put a lot of pressure on himself to live up to the expectations of his idol. He's also flawed, which is something that I really enjoy about my Joe characters.

I wanted to add another Rampage figure to my collection, something I could use outside of the Dino Hunters and something that wasn't a straight repaint. I really like how the parts came together and I opted to go with a paint scheme a bit different from the more traditional green and browns, but he blends in really well in a wooded environment, and I really like the end result
