The Battle Wagon is one of those impressive Joe vehicles from later in the line, when they weren't being released with Driver figures...not sure how it was decided whch vehicles would include figures, but something like the Battle Wagon definitely should have. I always thought Gung-ho would have been a perfect driver for the Battle Wagon and its even his secondary specialty according to his '92 file card, which is something I ddin't notice whien putting this idea together!

I liked the way the Mindbender head worked for my Dino-Hunter Gung-ho, so I wanted to use that again here. The grenade laden Monkeywrench torso pays a nice homage to the original figure, which came with a grenade launcher.
I wanted the colors to be similar to that of the Battle Wagon itself. And lastly I cheated by painting an undershirt so I didn't have to mess with trying to paint a chest tattoo.
