Firefly formed his own company after the fall of Cobra. Firefly Inc. became a sought after private contractor and well paid. Firefly agents traveled the world and completed assignments successfully. The agents in grey always escaped without any issues and anytime they were captured on camera no one could confirm any details. Firefly was living his dream until Cobra resurfaced. GI Joe became a force once again and began tracking the movement of Firefly Inc. Finally Firefly accepted Cobra's offer for protection and he relocated to Cobra Island. And now Cobra Commander III has given Firefly his own team back and Firefly is no longer taking commands.
