This was done as a part of Custom Celebration VIII. Bucky held a contest to make select figures in the Pursuit of Cobra Style. This posed a problem for me, as I prefer to do my GI Joe characters in classic style using vintage parts. I was going to let this part of the Celebration slide, until late one night, I had an idea how I could pull the look off. I was pleased that I was able to use several parts from actual Destro figures, and how the coat echoed the big collar of the original figure. It was the hat that really nailed his look for me though. I'd had that hat forever, but it was too small to use on most customs. Luckily, inexplicably, it fit on the Destro head pretty well.
