Normally I am against rebooting properties, but in the case of James Bond, Daniel Craig was the best thing that could have happened for the franchise. And happily, the Golden Compass figures came out about the same time and promptly went to discount stores, allowing me to get lots of the Asrael figure to use his head for James Bond customs. This is a kind of generic sort of commando, not particularly based on any specific film appearance.
