Tony Stark is the head of a consortium of business interests that competes with Sputnik International for government contracts from time to time. He is also part of a high stakes poker club, of which Lance Sputnik is also a member. Their association could hardly be called friendly, though it is civil, most of the time. The problem is that Stark is, at his core, just a great big know it all arrogant twaddle face.
