Cross Country loved to catch catfish bare handed, noodlin' as they call it down south. He had pretty good success but thought if he could just get deeper then he could pull up the real big boys. With a tournament coming up soon, Cross Country volunteered to help Deep Six and Torpedo on the next dive to set a Tactical Battle Platform. He got fitted for his dive gear, learned to move around in it, helped to set the platform and took a six month leave. When he came back to the barracks he had a catfish bigger than Roadblock mounted on his wall. And the tale of pulling that big guy out of a hole 300 feet deep is still being told to anyone who will listen.
