Hyperion infiltrated Firefly's company Firefly Inc. and served well reporting their attacks to The Night Creepers. When Firefly Inc. went back to Cobra after Cobra Commander III took control, Hyperion vanished and returned to The Night Creepers knowing that Springfield was dangerous to anyone found with other loyalties. Hyperion fancies himself a superhero and feels that The Night Creepers are the only ones in the world that are doing honest work to keep the world a safe place.
