Created as a part of my original Project: 95 series, which was to be figures related to unproduced sets that were to come as a part of the 1995 series. Hasbro had plans for a firefighting related team similar to the Eco Warriors. Grizzly is a forest fire fighter who has seen years of service out west. When the Joe team was called upon to assist in a particularly nasty blaze in Wyoming and dispatched from the Pit II, Grizzly was their liason for their stint in the woods. When Barbecue and Hawk were choosing team members for this assignment, they requested that Grizzly join them in the challenge.
