I created this Snake Eyes Redesign for a Post-Apocalyptic G.I. Joe Custom Project that was held at the ADC GI Joe Forum. It was a fun project and since there was no set storyline, I got wrapped up creating one for my particular custom and a tale of revenge against the Night Creepers for killing Kamakura and nearly killing Scarlett as well, not to mention explaining the benefits of his new suit.

The custom itself is loosely inspired by the 1990 Snake Eyes figure, which I am a fan of. I took up a black and blue color scheme and initially had to repaint some blue portions since the first blue I used wasn't bright enough. The head I thought turned out really well, I ended up having to trim off some of the visor's band and then using glue to tightly secure it back to the head, but I'm pleased with the results of how it turned out, which is where you get a touch of the '90 SE inspiration. I really had some trouble conceiving this custom, but once I got the parts set up and working on it, I was surprisingly pleased with the results. If I had more time I would've made a second custom for the project itself, but thus far, I think ol'Snakes has never looked better.
