Chuckles was never one of my favorites growing up. He was released in 1987 and I was already growing out of Joes by that time. The only way I knew of him was from the GI Joe Movie. Unfortunately, he was portrayed as a bit of a lunkhead. In 2005, when I got back into Joes as an adult, I read the entire original Marvel comics run and started seeing Chuckles in a brand new light.

For my ''custom'' (very much an LBC), I wanted a more realistic version of the CID agent. I decided to forgo the flowered shirt and kept the tactical vest. I also removed the Shipwreck tattoo from his arm and gave him new accessories.
