Each squad of Vipers is assigned at least one Viper Gunner. The Viper Gunners are typically equipped with the M249 SAW, but are proficient with the use of Enfield L7, M-60, and RPK's.
The Viper Gunner provides their infantry squads with heavy weapons support.
The Viper Gunner is typically the easiest target for Joe sharpshooters because they are the biggest of the bunch, and carrying the heaviest loads often time makes the slowest. That being said they also carry the biggest guns and most ammunition, you certainly don't want to get pinned down by one.

These two figures were put together in an effort to beef up my Viper squads, I thought the Vipers could benefit from a designated heavy weapons trooper. I figure after a stint serving as a Viper Gunner they would have the ability to move into a more specialized SAW Viper position.
