Design:

Another of the Micro Force minifigures scaled up to 1:18.

The minifigure is strange. The feet and hands are colored, maybe, to be rotting flesh. Is the character diseased? A zombie? It's not clear, but that's my interpretation. The minifigure is supposed to either be a little person or normal sized person in a squatting position, but the proportions aren't obvious. So I stuck with a standard size and made the character a zombie- or at least "zombie exposed". Maybe he's found a way to keep from going full zombie.

The not-quite-human face of Kit Fisto works well as a metal mask (which is what I assume DNM is wearing). The gi made from the 25A Snake-Eyes (ninja attire) with NS Storm Shadow/Obi Wan Kenobi arms added for the baggy sleeves. The NS arms looked pretty good with the 25A parts, always a bonus. The Zombie-Viper hands and feet were a given. To throw a bit more "zombie" into the mix, the tattered jacket from POTC Zombie is used as a robe.

Upscaling the minifigures has been a fun challenge. Some of them are pretty straightforward. This one allowed me to use a lot of "junk parts" to get the look of the figure.

Colors & Paint:

Instead of the solid teal robe/gi of the Micro Force minifigure, DNM is painted in grey to better fit with the mostly black Dark Ninja Brawler. The teal was added as a wash to the robe and the leg wraps, still keeping the overall tone subdued.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The tentacles were removed from the Kit Fisto head. The horns and hair are sculpted. The shoulder sockets were modified to accept the NS Storm Shadow arms, with the outer edges trimmed back to fit under the robe. The lower half of the SS arms was removed and replaced with the robed arms of Obi Wan Kenobi. The OWK hands were cut off and replaced with the mangled Zombie-Viper ones.

Thanks for looking.
