Lycanthropes, Lycan, Werewolves, Howlers, whatever you call them they are one of the most feared creatures that go bump in the night. Immune to all disease and having the ability to heal from most any wound these creatures are fear nothing. It is true that silver can kill them it can only do so if the shot is a kill shot. Silver blades or non-lethal gunshots heal near human slow. They also heal slow from attacks by vampires and zombies.

The Joe team learned all this the hard way when a small team in Iraq responded to rumors of a monster in the mountains. Only one member made it back.
