Major Tom joined G.I. Joe by way of the U.K., back before Action Force had ever been formed. He was a Fighter Pilot, Test Pilot and eventually an Astronaut. By virtue of his affiliation with the Joe Program, he was recruited into NASA where his days exploring the skies would turn to ages exploring space.

It was on a fateful day in 1969 that the good Major first left Earth's bounds. Sadly, Major Tom has never returned. What befell him on his maiden voyage has yet to be determined...
