Fake Out is a character from an old Joe knockoff line done by Remco. One of many. In this case a subset of American Defense called S.I.T., or Special Intelligence Team. Sucker for knockoffs that I am, I'd run across Fake Out researching Joe-like lines and he quickly made "the list". Just based on the "SPY" shirt alone I knew I had to have my own version of him. I later ran across his bio, which makes him out to be kind of an Inspector Clouseau sort of idiot savant, falling backwards into success. That characterization is a bit too jokey for me though, so I just see him as the kind of spy who finds wearing a shirt that says spy hilarious. The chest lettering is my first attempt using dry transfer decals, and I have to say, they're a great tool to have in the arsenal.
